The desire of FBA is to help children become confident, independent learners who 1) develop in Godly character, 2) are able to solve real-life problems, 3) work cooperatively with others, 4) develop unique personal talents, and 5) fulfill God-given ambitions. Every teacher—by emphasizing a child-centered, integrated learning approach — actively engages the students in developing concepts, skills, and creativity. Recognizing differing teaching styles, differing personality strengths, and that there are many effective approaches to teaching, considerable latitude is given to teachers in the manner of delivery of the material.
