Dear FBA Families,
We are off to a great start to the school year. I am so thrilled you are a part of the FBA family, and I am grateful we have the opportunity to partner with each of you.
On Friday I revealed to our students our theme for this year - IMPACT. I Peter 4:10-11 says, “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”
The word IMPACT comes from our school mission statement. Our mission statement reads, “First Baptist Academy exists to assist parents by providing an excellent classical education, that fosters a biblical worldview, striving to equip students to IMPACT the world for Christ.” The word IMPACT emphasizes the passionate desire to make a difference in
our world, and how that impact begins in our homes, our classrooms, and our communities.
It is my prayer that our students discover the joy of being servant-leaders who, as stewards of the grace of God, desire to make a difference in the lives of others and impact their world for Christ to the glory of God.

LATE ARRIVAL & EARLY DISMISSAL
Students who arrive after 8:00 a.m. are considered tardy and must be dropped off in the FBA Office. Parents must walk in with their students and sign them in. You cannot simply drop-off your student on the curb.
Students who are checked out early are considered tardy, as well. Students may not be checked out after 2:30 p.m. (1:30 p.m. on Wednesdays). Our classes are packing up during these times and are often times in transition. Our office area is also quite busy during this time. This school policy was put in place several years ago in order to protect our teachers' time with their students at the end of the day, as well as cutting back on families that simply want to avoid carline. We realize that emergencies happen, and we are happy to help in the event of those rare situations.
Remember that 3 unexcused tardies equals 1 unexcused absence.

NEW FBA SCHOOL OFFICE LOCATION
Our office has moved! Like we communicated earlier this summer, our FBA Admin Offices have moved to a central location on our campus. This has given us more room for office space, but more importantly, we gained classrooms space! Please CLICK HERE to view the FBA Campus Parking Map for more info on our new office location PLUS information on where to park and enter our building.
Quick Directions to the NEW FBA Office: From Ewing via Spring Street -- Take the first driveway on the right, and follow it around the back of the building. Drive up the small hill, and you will see a small parking area. Enter the building through the glass double doors on the right.
The ONLY places that you may enter our building are at the new FBA Office location OR at the Family Life Center Receptionist area.
The former FBA office area is CLOSED, and you may not enter that location. (Please see the map above for more information on where to park and enter the building.)
